One of the things that sets us apart from others is the quality of the paper we offer. We spent many months researching this and we think that what we have come up with is, quite simply, the best.

Our correspondence cards are 540gsm which, in layman's terms, means they are thick. We are confident you won’t be disappointed.

Our writing paper is also of a very high quality and at 135gsm it will certainly make an impact. In addition to this we have gone for a heavier paper 175gsm for our envelopes to ensure you can’t see through them.

Both our paper and our card has a very smooth surface which is wonderful to  write on. We have tested it for use with ink pens, rollerball pens, biros, felt tips and pencils and it passed with flying colours.

We have kept things simple and limited our range to one size for cards and one for writing paper.

Correspondence cards - A6  - 105 x 148mm  [4⅛" x 5⅞"]

Writing paper - A5 - 148 x 210mm [5⅞" x 8 1/4"]

Our paper and the environment

It goes without saying that our paper and envelopes are fully recyclable and biodegradable but in addition to this it is FSC certified. What does that mean? Well, it means that the wood used in the manufacture of the paper comes from FSC certified forests and this, in turn means that the woodland is managed in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial way.

As well as this our paper is milled in the UK and our printing is done locally keeping our  ‘paper’ miles to a minimum. Our paper will probably travel further when you put the stamp on the envelope than it has before it reaches you.

Our print

In setting up Grace I spent much time researching different printing techniques to find the perfect one that could recreate the colours and typefaces I had chosen, that was  affordable and that didn’t take 6 weeks to turnaround. I think I have found it and the printing system I have chosen offers accurate colour reproduction and a beautiful, smooth print. It does all this without damaging the paper and card and we are very pleased with the end result.
